Right, 2020 has just started and we are already talking about the word of the year. But truth is we chose ours in 2019.
At Balanças Marques, we decided the months are about to come will be dedicated to “Sustainability”. During this time, we’ll unite efforts so that, through small actions, we are able to contribute for the “17 Sustainable Development Goals”, established by the UN.
Even though the year has barely started, we already premiered our plan.
In 2020, we’ll be (even) more careful with the planet and our community. There are several actions we want to reinforce in favour of nature. We already thought of various activities to carry out through the year – with our employees and all those who want to take part of it. We hope that, mainly, all of us together, may learn and do more for the environment.
Because we don’t just want to be the best in the world. We also want to be the best to the world.
It’s not enough saying we win awards, we have trophies or we are the best at our job. At Balanças Marques, we aspire for more. We aspire to show the weight we have – or may have – in the creation of a better world. It’s our goal to contribute, with every gesture possible, to the sustainability of our resources and the planet we live in.
Because we must create a better world for the future generations.
Balanças Marques started with a father who wanted to give better life conditions for his kids. Today, our company keeps growing thanks to the work of his children and also his grandkids. So, we value Family and we value new generations. We feel the need and even the obligation of leaving them a better world, or al least a world with more future, a world in the right track for a sustainable development.
Because we believe one should be the change they want to see in the world.
As small as they may be, there are day to day gestures that can help the preservation and protection of nature. So, all of us, no exception, can contribute to make the world a better place. Balanças Marques wants to fulfil its role and do its part on this global effort that is coming around problems as climate changes and global warming.
