Around here, we have been weighing a new world for over five decades. Since then a lot has changed. The workspace is no longer the same, employees keep multiplying, the manufacturing process is increasingly industrial. But, in each product, you can still see the Portuguese DNA and the passion that led José Pimenta Marques to create Balanças Marques.
It was in Portugal that, in 1967, we started our path to weigh a new world. And now that more 50 years have gone by, we can say we fulfilled – and keep fulfilling – this mission. Over time, we have developed several innovative products that contributed to revolutionize the weighing world. Over time, we were capable of placing our brand around the globe.
Today, we also have offices in Valencia (Spain), Orleans (France) and Ningbo (China). And we are present, one way or another, in dozens of countries.
Without ever forgetting the starting point. Without ever leaving behind the place that is our operations base to this day.
